Self-Guided Cycling Route

Flores - San Miguel Loop

Ride from Flores to San Miguel on a varied route that combines paved roads, gravel and rolling terrain. It is a great option if you want to get some exercise while exploring the quieter roads and forest around the lake.

About this Route

After leaving Flores, the route gradually takes you away from the busier roads and into the green surroundings of San Miguel. The terrain becomes more undulating as you follow a mix of paved and gravel roads beneath the trees, with plenty of opportunities to spot birds and other wildlife along the way. Once you reach San Miguel, you can leave your bike behind and return to Flores Island on a short 3-minute boat crossing, making this an easy one-way adventure that combines a good ride with a different way of experiencing the area.
