Self-Guided Cycling Route

Jungle Adventure Rides

Extend your ride beyond the main peninsula with routes built for a longer day on two wheels. Whether you want a straightforward forest loop or a full-day outing with interesting stops along the way, these routes show you how to get the most out of the area at your own pace.

About this Route

These routes take you deeper into the forest and further beyond Flores, combining longer rides with the opportunity to visit some of the area's more unusual places along the way. Depending on the route, you might stop at a butterfly sanctuary, kayak across a small lake to an island inhabited by spider monkeys, or take a break for breakfast or lunch at a jungle resort. Some routes are simply longer jungle loops, while others are designed as full-day outings with several stops to make along the way. All of them are self-guided, giving you the freedom to decide how long you want to spend riding, exploring and enjoying each place at your own pace.
